ERA Sponsors NRCA Roofing Day in D.C. 2018
March Event To Deliver Roofing Message to Congress
WASHINGTON, DC, March 1, 2018– The EPDM Roofing Association (ERA), the leading trade association representing the manufacturers of EPDM single-ply roofing products and their suppliers, has joined with more than twenty other industry organizations to support the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) Roofing Day in DC 2018. The event, to be held on March 6-7, is designed to raise awareness among members of Congress of the legislative and regulatory issues that affect the roofing industry.
“We welcome the opportunity to join with other industry leaders and raise one united voice on Capitol Hill,” said Ellen Thorp, Associate Executive Director of ERA. “And we congratulate NRCA for taking the lead and organizing this important event.” Roofing Day in D.C. 2018 will kick off with a reception the evening of Tuesday, March 6th, and provide training Wednesday morning March 7th for participants prior to their meetings with members of Congress. NRCA anticipates that up to 1,000 participants will carry the roofing message to key legislators.
