ERA and the BuildingAction Coalition urge Congress to act on Build Back Better
BuildingAction is a coalition that spans several segments of the buildings industry across the United States whose members “create and use America’s buildings.” ERA is an Ally of the BuildingAction coalition and works with other members to make the case that sustainable buildings must be part of the infrastructure debate. Recently, ERA and other coalition members urged Congress to ensure that any clean energy legislation it passes includes significant building-related provisions. It specifically referenced the policies included in the Build Back Better bill which would be critical in: accelerating the transformation of America’s buildings, offering financing for green retrofits of schools and office buildings, and creating investments in making communities more resilient and buildings more sustainable.
